your art is so fantastic! far out. great colours, textures, style, everything! and it's a good concept/message also.

plus i love across the universe. although i think the beatles' original version isn't as good as the new version from the movie.

Wow, you're style is awesome.
Those textures are pretty hardcore, I must say.
Do you plan on going in to graphics design?

I actually don't even do art at school... I really just use art as an outlet rather than an income. I certainly wouldn't mind going into graphics design though... I'll undoubtedbly keep going with freelance commissions & design stuff on the side throughout my life though...

Nope it was a photo of a sketch i did in my artbook for a friend. Then I tweaked the contrasts and transparencies etc to just get the lineart, changed it to red, fixed up the dodgy parts, smoothed the edges etc...

Then I did the colour layer.

Then added various shapes with stock textures to the background and put a translucent orange textured rectangle over the whole lot to give it that yellowy feel.

So no, apart from the original sketch, none of it is actually traditional work. :D
